We envision a world where everyone has access to tools that improve their physical and mental health, allowing them to live in balance with themselves and their communities.

Through our projects and initiatives, we aim to spread comprehensive health practices globally, ensuring wellbeing and vitality for all. We provide training for teachers, outreach programmes, and community support to help people live healthier lives.

For over 30 years the Lishi International (LI) charity has helped individuals and communities improve their physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing through traditional health practices.

We train teachers, run community-based health programmes, and support individuals in developing lifelong wellness habits. Our vision is a world where people live healthier, more connected lives—and you can help make this happen.

Professional Disciplines

We currently have over 30 trainee teachers in England who are undergoing professional training in holistic health disciplines.

 

These teachers are on the front lines, spreading the benefits of integrated health techniques to others. Your donation will enable their continued training and development.

International Outreach

In addition to the UK, we run teacher training programmes in Spain, France, and Germany.

 

Our international teachers have to qualify as teachers and go through rigorous training. 

 

With your help, we can support their training and ensure the spread of comprehensive health practices to even more countries.

Centre of Excellence

We are transforming our building into a centre that will serve as a global hub for holistic health traditions.
 

This space will provide classes, resources, and expert guidance on health, wellness, and natural living to our local and international communities.

Before I started, I was dealing with constant neck pain and looking for an alternative to the gym. I knew I needed to move, but I had no idea where to start. Massage therapy wasn’t an option, so I figured I’d have to fix it myself.
 

Then I found this training. At first, I just wanted something low-impact, but I quickly realised it was so much more. I started learning how to move with better posture, how to release tension, and how to build strength in a way that didn’t strain my body.
 

Now, I feel in control of my own well-being. My neck pain has eased, my posture has improved, and I have a way to exercise that actually works for me.
I feel stronger in every way, I have more resilience, more confidence, and a sense of control over my own progress.

I’ve spent my whole life in education—learning, teaching, and helping others grow. But despite all that experience, I had never encountered anything quite like this.

When I first joined, I was looking for movement, something to reconnect me with my body after returning from a year abroad. What I found was so much more. The way Lishi is taught isn’t just about technique—it’s an experience that opens you up to possibility. I started seeing what I could do, and how much more I was capable of.
 

Now, as a coach, I get to share that experience with others. It’s more than just teaching a skill—it’s about unlocking potential. I’ve seen people step into confidence they never knew they had, and every session reminds me of the magic that first drew me in. Being part of this practice has changed me, and now I get to pass that on.

At the time, I felt stuck. I wanted to be stronger—physically and mentally—but I didn’t know where to start. I had tried different fitness routines, but nothing felt like it actually helped me grow in the way I wanted.
 

Then I found this training. From day one, it was different. It wasn’t just about working out—it was about learning how to move better, how to build real confidence in my body, and how to push myself in ways that felt natural. No matter what the challenge is—stress, balance, strength, focus—there’s a way to improve it here, while genuinely having fun.
 

The teachers are a blessing. They set high standards, and being part of a community that upholds those standards has been life-changing. It’s not just about personal growth—it’s about keeping this incredible tradition alive and passing it on to others.
